Julie will be taking part in the East Cheshire Hospice Art Show at Macclesfield Town Hall, Macclesfield.

Cheshire Open Studios, Autumn 2009
Julie Allen took part in the 12th Annual Cheshire Open Studios event during September and November 2009. The Open Studios event is "is a unique chance to meet artists, to discover how and where they produce their work and buy from them directly". Julie's studio was open to visitors September 27th-28th, where her mixed media paintings, etchings and collographs in rich colours and patterns, influenced by India and Persia could be viewed. Exhibition on the theme of silk
Julie's painting 'Singing to the Silk Moth' received Highly Commended in the Jobling Gowler Art Exhibition 2009.
The painting was shown with the rest of the exhibition on the theme of silk at Jobling Gowler Solicitors at 250 Park Lane, Macclesfield. The exhibition continued until November. For more information click here.
